A REST API is designed to provide CRUD access to matters, contacts, time entries, invoices, documents, and more, with JSON responses, cursor-based pagination, and sensible rate limits.
Webhooks
Real-time event notifications are planned for matter updates, payment receipts, document changes, and other events, with configurable retry logic and HMAC signature verification.
OAuth 2.0
Authentication is designed around the OAuth 2.0 authorization code flow, with scoped permissions, refresh tokens, and support for service accounts.
SDKs & Libraries
Official SDKs are planned for popular languages such as Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, generated from an OpenAPI specification, with more languages to follow.
Zapier Integration
A Zapier integration is planned to connect LegalEdge to thousands of apps, with pre-built triggers and actions for common workflows and no code required.
Partner Program
A partner program is planned for building integrations, offering consulting, or reselling LegalEdge, with revenue sharing, co-marketing, and partner support.
